Online Dispute Resolution
Online Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between Love by K and the client, an amicable agreement will be sought between the parties prior to any legal action. We will do everything in our power to find a solution.
If you have any complaints or claims relating to purchases made in our online shop, please contact us via email at info@lovebyk.com or through the helpline +351 962408494 (mobile network), available from 10:00 to 19:00h on weekdays.
In case of dispute, any consumer resident in Portugal and the European Union may exercise their right of complaint to an official entity, third and impartial to the process. In this context, Love by K provides all the information so that you can exercise your right of complaint.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the purchase made in our online store, you can appeal to an entity of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) of consumption, as listed below:
CICAP - Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre of Porto
Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (Lisbon Centre for Consumer Conflict Arbitration)
CIAB - Consumer Information, Mediation and Arbitration Centre (Consumer Arbitration Court)
CNIACC - National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Conflicts
European Commission
For further information on these processes, we also suggest consulting the Consumer Portal: www.consumidor.pt.
What is alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes?
It is a mechanism that enables all consumers to resort to official entities that can help them resolve a conflict with a trader, without first having to open a litigation process in Court.
What is the role of these entities in the resolution of the conflict?
These entities act as intermediaries between the consumer and the trader who is the subject of the complaint. The intermediary may impose a solution on both parties or seek to bring them together so that a solution can be reached. Alternative dispute resolution is normally less costly, less formal and quicker than going to court.
